A lot of News will be coming out on the Triangle soon, including a national news story, a major SCI-FI Channel 2-hour special documentary, a miniseries by Brian Singer, a 2 hour History Channel production, and a Congressional Resolution concerning Flight 19. Except for the dramatic work by Brian Singer, I have been associated in one way or another with the projects.
The SCI-FI Channel special will preview at the Rayburn House Office Building (Gold Room) Washington DC on November 17, by invite only. It will then air on SCI-FI Channel later in the month. I will update when I know the details. The SCI-FI Channel doc. was heavily influenced by my second book, They Flew Into Oblivion,

Site has now been reloaded. Let me know if there are links that are not working!November 26, 2003
The site suffered a crash and is currently being rebuilt. A number of links are not working. I’ll try to have them all working again by December 1.
November 11, 2003
The site is undergoing major streamlining to reduce its more than 250 pages to something more compact and concise. Since much of my book is taken up with the evidence and theories (which I never put up on the site), most of what is on the site in terms of vignettes on incidents (also detailed in the book) is no longer necessary. October 28, 2003
The site has only slowly been undergoing some changes. I’ve been busy with the book. Today BORDERS has placed the book on its shelves and on front tables to begin their 2 month “face-out” display. I know all other book stores will be carying them as well.
July 3, 2002
A couple of new Featured Articles are soon coming. Hopefully, there will be some more book updates soon. There is loads of information that I need to add to missing ships and planes, but frankly I’ve been busy with a lot of other stuff. I’m working on a number of books right now, and it seems that the disappearance of the Cyclops will be my next completed one. April 02, 2003.
The site is still undergoing revamping. As you noticed, many pages are very differently designed. I will probably keep it eclectic since it would take too much to change it all.
November 20, 2002
Updates are now being made. I know it has been a long time, but I have been busy with fine tuning my MS, and then my last computer crashed, and it takes a long time to get the web software working again. The site will be revamped soon as well. Too many people are complaining about text over written. This is a problem with your computer, but apparently too many are having trouble, so I’m going to go back to a non-fixed page layout. Thanks for the patience. September 7, 2002
Sorry about the delays in updates, but some rewrites have taken my spare time that I normally devote to maintaining my site. Thanks again for your patience. Soon, the site will be updated with more info and articles. But in the meantime start participating in the Message Board. Check it out now. I got a really humorous accusation hurled at me by a man promoting that he has the ultimate answer! Let’s get some people interested in offering mature theories!
June 18, 2002
I’ve added a link to the first Bermuda Triangle Message Board on the Web. This is an independent site. I do not own it, nor am I responsible for what is posted there unless I am the poster. But perhaps I can answer some general questions there more frequently than I can through email. Please abide by the Message Board rules and enjoy yourself. I hope this message board takes some of the burden off me trying to answer questions about “what is the latest disappearance or news?” since you can all share here. Remember, I do not report on these incidents, I investigate them. As such, I don’t release a lot of information until things are cut and dried. June 1, 2002
A lot has been happening lately! I’ve been a bit delayed with updates on the site, but I finally got up the mariner article and some stuff on derelict vessels. Check it out at The Mariner and Drifters.
May 9, 2002
Updates of missing aircraft are being made today. Seven cases are described. Check it out at Missing Aircraft link!
Derelict vessels will soon be following, as well as a Featured article on the lost PBM Mariner on December 5, 1945, that went looking for Flight 19. April 8, 2002
Apparently Discovery has re-aired one of the shows done on the Triangle featuring me. I believe it was Fred Silverman’s. I am grateful for the compliments being sent me, and I will try and respond ASAP.
There has been a slight delay in my book, due to a rewrite and that a number of promises to connect me with literary agents have ended up to be empty promises. I must for the first time pound the pavement and actually solicit one. It will take time. But as soon as I am done mapping my book, I will get to the updates! I promise!
March 24, 2002
A new semi-section has been added as a Featured Article. I take a look briefly at a few of the top sellers in popular culture, Bigfoot, Yeti, Nessie, and UFOs.
I am aware that many people are having trouble reading the site due to overlapping of text onto other text or pictures. The problem is not with the site. Your browser predates Navigator or Explorer 4.0. You must upgrade in order to view this site the way it is laid out.March 10, 2002
More updates will be coming soon. I’ve been revising some parts of my book and working on more leads for the site. Please stay tuned. I would also like to say that I’m quite aware of all the emails I get. Although I can’t answer them all personally, I do read them and I’m quite flattered by the compliments. I’ll try and get a little better about answering them. I promise!
January 17, 2002
I am proud to say that today I have been able to upload the Bio of J.C. McPhee, thanks to his sister, Joan, who has answered my many questions. I completely forgot what day is was today, but in her final answer she reminded me. “Today is the 53rd anniversary of the Star Ariel’s disappearance! It is 17 January, NZ time. I will drink a toast to him and to you for keeping his memory alive.” I will drink a toast to both of you, too— and to the old Mariner’s saying “To all those who go down to the sea in ships” . . .and now in planes.
January 13, 2002
Updates are occuring right now as this is being written. This includes new sections such as Biography and a new Featured, and additions to Those Who Lived to Tell.
January 1, 2002
Massive renovation of the site is underway. Expect certain pages to be down as they are deleted and reloaded. I am also aware that some links are not working. I am infrequently told about this, and would appreciate surfers letting me know when they find a link that is not working! Happy New Year to all! Also, I am very aware of questions being emailed to me. I am not ignoring them. I will try to answer them as soon as possible!December 19, 2001
Merry Christmas to everybody! The site is undergoing work right now, but there is a lot planned for 2002! I am on hold for several other shows commencing in early 2002 as well. More information has come in, and as you can see the Biography section is getting ready. When the major updates come, there will be a lot of them . . .and it will be soon! A short article is on Featured right now about John Hutchison’s work. Also, go to www.randomhouse.co.uk to order the book by Nick Cook called the Hunt for Zeropoint, featuring a lot of Hutchison’s work.
November 12, 2001
Sorry about the lack of updates. I’ve been engrossed in my book, and this evening just finished the final draft. I am mapping it and organizing photos. As soon as I’m finished, I will place up the Biography Section. It will be your chance to see who many of the missing really were. This way I take them out of just the dead file drawer of statistics and bring them to life so the reader will have a better grasp of the whole incident. My thanks to the many families that have contributed. For those who lost family and wish to contribute, by all means email!
I have also been very busy with Television. I will be getting up yet another behind the scenes page on another Discovery/Travel Channel show for which I helped out on and was interviewed for by Producer/Director Robert Strange of Pioneer TV, London. I will be doing 2 other Discovery shows shortly.
October 2, 2001
The Site is slowly undergoing renovation and massive changes. This will take place over a long period, so please be patient. Graphics are being downsized and changed in order to facilitate faster loading of the page. Some of the articles will be cleaned up of bad form, new articles are being planned. Main Navigation will slowly be fazed out in favor of a home page that will have all major links and icons on it. All in all, the site will look more uniform. Then I will be able to keep up with events and update the site more frequently.
This has nothing to do with the web review below critisizing my graphics. The site had been under plans to renovate for a long time. I was never happy with the layout.
My book is slightly delayed due to breaking up 1 chapter into 2. This is mostly what has caused a delay in updating and redesigning the site. But hold on, a lot is planned!
August 29, 2001
Apparently there was some form of cheesy site review of my site last night on British television. I was emailed this morning by one of their representatives and given a link to a web review version, a short little blurp written by a “reviewer” who seems to want more entertainment value in the loss of others’ lives. Since only truth hurts, I have no problem linking to this “review.” Click here for my take on it first.
August 24, 2001
Well, I’m back up and ready to make some new additions. My software has been fritzed for a month due to a tranfer data problem from my old computer to my new one. All is straightened out now. I will be updating some cases and placing some very interesting articles up on some of those lost. One article will detail the career of John Harry Romero jr. He was the pilot trainer of Sting 27 which was lost in rather unusual circumstances south of Homestead AFB, Florida, in 1971. His family contacted me and provided pictures and copies of his awards and citations.
July 18, 2001
Some very crucial updates were made today. I have now linked “Those Who Lived to Tell” in the Theories Section. So far only three accounts are up: but I think they are all special accounts! They span the sprectrum of the Triangle: Columbus, the first; Bruce Gernon, a well known case told in his own words for the first time on the Net; and the most recent, the unusual sighting made by Paul Vance and Doug Gerdon aboard the “Rare Form” just last June 26, 2001. I will try and get more up soon. My special thanks to Paul for relating his incident within a week of its occurance. That spurred me on to get this section of the site going.
July 2, 2001
Updates are being made today. Check out the missing aircraft index page to find 5 new cases added. There is more in the works.
June 26, 2001
A few things have been in the works lately. I will appear in a segment of The Learning Channel’s Ultimate 10 show. It will air in December and be based on the Ocho-cero disappearance in 1980, the one associated with the UFO. Discovery Channel is supposedly doing an hour long show to air in December.
More specific to the site, a few things will soon be updated. I’ve been busy on my book and have not had the time to work on the site.
I am very grateful for all the compliments my site has received. I sometimes may be very verbose in my articles, and sometimes take too long to get incidents up due to excessive artwork. But I want the site to completely satisfy all those who visit it. You’d be surprised at how many people had no idea what these types of planes or boats looked like. I think it is important to show them this artwork and what the Triangle actually looks like. In my upcoming book I will not be able to do a lot of this. So this web site is planned as a nice companion to the book.
Also, I tend to be verbose because of the credibility problem on the Internet. The Internet was first conceived as an information highway. But if that information is considered suspect, what good is it? I want to make sure the incident is completely understood and its sources conveyed. I think I have succeeded. Despite other sites having been up longer, my site has skyrocketed with interest. In this month it should surpass 250,000 hits on the home page alone—all this in one and a half years!
Now, I have no gripe with any other site. I do not compete with them and seldom even visit them . . .despite one webmaster claiming that my site disfavorably mentions and “trashes” his. Those who follow my site know that I never mention any other site.
March 18, 2001
I have finally uploaded the aircraft “Briefs” and cases from 1964 to 1977! Go there now for an interesting litany plus some surprises!
March 2, 2001
I have updated Q&A plus Sargasso Sea and Map of the Missing. Apparently, someone else has been claiming utter nonsense about the Sargasso Sea’s location.
I am currently working on Mary Celeste, Carroll A. Derring and those aircraft cases I keep promising to get up. Sorry for the delay, but it is caused by the artwork.
February 16, 2001
I was not aware that all my Theories section had been wiped out by my server for no apparent reason. It is now back and running. Sorry for any inconvenience. No one had reported it to me.
February 15, 2001
More updates are being made today. Featured Articles is finally changed. Go there now for Remembering Flight 19. I am uploading more easily accessible email links since some have had problems finding them.
February 10, 2001
The site is being updated today and will continue to be updated throughout the week. These updates will include theories as well more incidents. The TLC Behind the scenes is finally up. Q&A has been updated. And I have added a Statement as something new to help clarify some points.
February 1, 2001
Sorry about the lack of recent updates. However, due to space linmitations, etc, I have been revamping the site and also preparing it to be an advertiser friendly enviroment. It will be up in about a month, new, and with plenty of content additions. A lot has been going on. I’ve been busy writing my book, doing behind-the-scenes work with TLC and regular work in addition to this site.
This site has proven a blessing for research in many ways. I have been contacted by many persons involved in incidents. Owners of planes that vanished and family members of some missing. I take this as a great compliment on the tenor of this web site that they offer to donate information and pictures to help in the retelling and perhaps solving of some of these incidents!
Please be patient!
December 1, 2000
Tonight is the night! Concurrent with the History Channel airing of a segment done on my preliminary search for Flight 19 in the Okefenokee Swamp, my Flight 19 Web Site will be uploaded. The premier is at 9 p.m. Eastern for “This Week in History”
I am leaving tomorrow morning for Fort Lauderdale, for a Learning Channel shoot being done by Teamd U.K. Productions. Among other things, we will be filming the NAS Fort Lauderdale Historical Society’s memorial service. Music begins at 1:30 p.m., and the ceremony, including guest speaker, General MacAbbee, will commence at 2: p.m. the time that Flight 19 began to take to the air. Public is invited.
November 14, 2000
Never mind. Since we’re shooting in Florida we have acquired some confusion. Shooting has been moved back for me till the 4th of December. My web site on Flight 19 will, therefore, be uploaded current with The History Channel release for “This Week in History” 9 p.m. Eastern on The History Channel.
November 2, 2000
I have been retained as consultant for a Learning Channel hour long special presentation on the Bermuda Triangle. The shooting schedule has been moved back to December 1st, as it now stands. Because of this I will not be around to upload my Flight 19 web site concurrent with the 9 pm eastern airing on The History Channel. Therefore, I will have to preempt by a few days.
As it also now stands, TLC will be filming the December 5 memorial service at NAS Fort Lauderdale in memory of Flight 19. Those who live about the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area may wish to attend this annual service. It is held at the Flight 19 monument by the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale International Airport tower. Marines and Naval personnel will be carrying a flag for each man lost. Hopefully, we can have Capt. Don Poole there for this ceremony.
My special thanks is extended to the families of the officers and men of Flight 19, to the many historical societies and archivists, who helped me track down information, pictures, and persons living. Because of their diligence, both The History Channel and The Learning Channel, and my Web Site, will be able to show pictures never seen before.
September 12, 2000
I can’t believe it’s been this long. My updates haven’t gone as I wished. I’ve been very busy and I’m quite meticulous about accuracy, so sometimes I have to check and recheck. Also, I have started my Flight 19 section of the web site. I must prepare it for public viewing by December 1, when the History Channel will air its segment on my recent search for Flight 19. It will air on “This Week In History.”
My section on Flight 19 will be a site within a site, and has taken up a lot of my time. I have also been busy with some post production research. However, I now have up a section on Behind-the-Scenes, so you can see what just a fraction of a shooting day looks like from behind the camera.
After I am finished with my Flight 19 section, I will get back to updating the missing aircraft section and investigating recent losses. Hopefully, I can also update Q&A. Thanks for you patience!
May 24, 2,000
Updates are now being made. Thanks for your patience during this long drought. But it takes a lot to design the artwork, write the text, etc. The updates aren’t as extensive as I would wish, but they will be added to almost everyday. I am trying to make the site friendly for school projects and classroom studies. I have received so many questions on basics, it has shown me what I need to do. I am grateful as this guides me in the design of my site! . . .Cheers!
April 6, 2000
Don’t be discouraged by the lack of updates. In one fell swoop, the site will be drastically updated. This takes time. But it will be a much better site and worth the waiting!
March 21, 2000
Sorry about the lack of updates. I have been kept busy by business and by new designs for the web site. The site is undergoing revamping. This is to make it more “question friendly.” I receive a large number of emails from surfers who want basic questions answered, like “where is the Bermuda Triangle?” Many do not bother to read some of what is on the site, so they are confused about the icons on the Investigations page. I repeat: the icons by the case links on the Investigation page indicates the source from which the material on the incident was taken. If an icon is marked “Top Secret” it means the report was once filed under “Top Secret.” Obviously, if I have the report now, it is no longer top secret!
On another note: I am overwhelmed at how the site has been received. Feedback has been helpful in the redesign of the site, and viewer compliments have been frequent. Please be patient! What is up is only a fraction of the site so far!
February 8, 2000
My Scrapbook on missing vessels has finally been uploaded. The link is Survive the Savage Sea in Investigations. I junked the idea of doing artwork for each disapperances. It is simply too time consuming. The cases are subject to change. I specialize more in aircraft investigation than yachts.
I’m real happy with how the site has been received. Since December thousands of people have visted and the feedback has been very complimentary. It is now getting up to about 1,500 hits per week!
January 12, 2000
Regarding questions: I try and respond to all questions. If you do not get a response from me, it means your server has rejected it. I have received USER UNKNOWN a couple of times. Sorry, but that is beyond my control. Some of you will find your questions answered in Q&A which will be uploaded this weekend.
January 10, 2000
Sorry about the lack of updates during the holidays, but it has been busy. Major updates will be coming. The plan is to finish all the Ships/yachts, then upload a special Featured to introduce the pages on derelict vessels. Then I’ll tackle about 50 aircraft incidents. Q&A will be up shortly. Thanks for your patience! Philadelphia Experiment has been reworked and is operational.
December 13, 1999
Updates will be occurring throughout the week, as I am able to get up more information and artwork.
December 12, 1999
Well, so much for Sundays. I’m trying to make this site comprehensive. I alone have to do all the artwork, pixel by pixel. This takes time. Writing the text, making sure I didn’t make some terrible blunder on a fact, takes a lot of time too. . . .I’m trying to rush as fast as I can. The site is being visited by more people now. Bermuda-online.org has requested a mutual link. I have placed this on the Home page since I think it is good for my surfers to have a link to places in the actual Triangle. A lot is planned, so please be patient! I’ll finish the ship links before I start on those 50 aircraft cases listed on the bottom left of the Investigations link.
November 7, 1999
Updates will be occuring regularly on Sundays. So please stay tuned and visit the site often! I’ve royally screwed up the search engines. They are still not pulling up the site in the top 10 or, frankly, at all. Still working on it!
October 28, 1999
A new Home Page is loaded. Ship/Yacht incidents will begin one per day . . .hopefully!
October 22, 1999
A new Home Page will be loaded this upcoming week. This will facilitate being found by the Search Engines. LMK if it is better or worse. Ship links will be uploaded at the same time. Philadelphia Experiment will be cut down. I’m simply beating a dead horse with some of it.
October 1, 1999
Tonight the site goes into the Search Engines! Finally advertising!
September 30, 1999.
The Atlantis part of the theory section has been updated. The appropriate animated gifs now alert the surfer to parts of the site under construction, coming soon, or updated. Those marked updated mean the link is just recently operational or updated. Most unmarked links should be working. This is all preparatory to advertising the site. Thanks for your patience.
September 16, 1999
Delays, delays! I’ve paid too much attention to classical designs in the Atlantis section of the Theories link. I got too involved in trying to reproduce classical Athens as the backdrop for Plato’s Atlantis. This will be tacked up in future, but for now I will shortly upload a much more simple version. Edgar Cayce’s Atlantis will be uploaded in a few days.
Ship links are not yet up . . .but shortly! Please be patient!
August 24, 1999
Well, it was brought to my attention that the Site is being visited by some early surfers. I had intended to be up and fully running before the Site was advertised in the Miami Herald and placed in all the Search Engines on the Web. However, it seems that someone placed a couple of pages in Excite. Sure enough, after I put in a counter just a few days ago, it registered a number of hits.
I don’t mind anybody having done this. In fact, I’m flattered. But I best make a few clarifications here for you early surfers. So far, the aircraft links are working, and these are only a fraction of the aircraft links going to be put up. There are some articles and pages up as well, like About Me which, mercifully, I devote little to myself and most to method of research and source information. 500 Leagues is up, an overview of the actual seas of the Triangle; and there are some others. So there is quite a lot for you to see just by surfing right now. In the Theories Section, the Buache Map and Piri Reis Map links are operational and give you a taste of the exposé.
However, by mid September I hope to have up the Ship links as well; also, the bulk of the pages in the Theories Section. It seems inconceivable to advertise the Site without this section up.
When these are uploaded, then the advertising will begin. I hope for mid September. There will still be a lot that I need to upload, but I think the Site by then will be well rounded with mystery and theories to offer a taste of the Bermuda Triangle.
I hope you enjoy this. But remember all is not up. You are surfing on a spot very few people know about yet.
With this is mind, feel free to ENTER and have a look.

I have been updating my site, but I have forgotten to update this Site News page! Sorry about that.
I will be announcing book releases this year, so stay tuned. I have added a subsite of information on Bigfoot, but I intend to keep low key. Triangle incidents are being monitored and updated. Web space has so far limited revamping the whole site, but I am still thinking about it.
Also, I may replace a large number of pages that carried individual incidents. I took these down so as not to compete with my book. However, I noticed there is need for accurate information on the web again. Some bizarre person keeps adding erroneous information to the Bermuda Triangle LIST page on wikipedia. Either that or he adds false comments about locations and other details in an attempt to redact the relevance of the incident. Obviously, Bubba-like people are still at work.
